This prominent Galleria area hotel had been leaking profusely for many years; additionally, the brick veneer endwalls were seperating from the concrete sheerwalls behind. The original bronze tinted typical glass was dated and created excessive heat loads in the Guest rooms and offices. The new Owners engaged Fašade Resources Group as the full charge, design-build prime contractor to completely reglaze the building with blue reflective glass, design and install new custom extruded aluminum covers over the existing glazing system and concrete slab edges. The entire glazing system was then "wet glazed" with silicone sealant. The Endwalls were "Over-Clad" using a custom designed, extruded aluminum grid framing system, anchored through the brick veneer into the concrete sheer wall behind. The grid was then glazed with matching blue reflective spandrel glass set in lock-strip gaskets. New aluminum and glass balcony rails were installed A new ground floor high-span glazing systems was installed along with revolving glass doors
